Enquiries are welcome from honours students and PhD candidates who want to pursue research work in a particular area. There are no formal projects as such, as each project is evolved after discussion with the relevant research group head.   • ANRI Vacation Scholarship student Kirsten Bennett has won the prestigious "Young Investigator Award" at the recent Pan Asian Committee for Treatment and Research in MS, 4th Annual Congress in Singapore. The award was for Best Original Research and was in competition against other presentations from China, SE Asia, India, Australia, Hong Kong, Canada and Japan. Well done Kirsten from Prof. Allan Kermode and the ANRI team.

VACATION SCHOLARSHIPS

The Australian Neuro-muscular Research Institute invites applications for Vacation Scholarships to give undergraduates an opportunity to participate in research projects that are related to Neuromuscular and Neurological disorders. These projects are to be carried out during the December/January summer vacation. The Scholarships are tenable for six to eight weeks during the vacation and are valued at $100 per week.

Applicants are required to gain the acceptance of an appropriately qualified supervisor and the approval of the Head of the Laboratory in which the work will be undertaken prior to their application being submitted.

Applications for scholarships must be endorsed by the appropriate Head of Laboratory and submitted to:
